Eternal sunshine

Posted by
shoti (somewhere in, China) on 10 January 2011 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

walking Vigan's streets feels like going through the spanish colonization period. almost the entire town looks like a century old - more than, maybe. this image was taken in Calle Crisologo - a little street famous for not-so-well-preserved old structures from the spanish times. sadly commerce has taken over, most of the shops in the street sell souvenirs. would've been better if it were coffee shops or restaurants. .

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd.

Love this shot. The atmosphere, the faded tones, the composition and light. Excellent.
