I recall --from a trip to China-- some years ago that it appeared not be a big issue to release gas or even be spotted picking your nose. I wasn't among the most seemingly educated of folk one could encounter, but something about how these things happen tell me it's not so bad, but just natural.

De Jesus R.: exactly Luis. these people don't give much shit about being "civil". most of the masses (from my point of view, not necessarily correct) live with the basic rules of life: feed, work, mate, repeat. they also enjoy some hobbies like traveling, sports and stuff, but mostly they just work and work and save money for future use. the beauty in the Chinese way of living is its sheer simplicity: less pretentiousness, more practicality. hence, the inevitable dialing of noses in public and obvious gas bomb explosions. Thanks for the visit Luis :D
