Are there cards ? So little and cute. I like his concentration and interesting is this imposing presence of the yellow light in the background, as if the sun was calling but the gambler with his nice face (must have been a naturally elegant younger man) can't answer, too much buried within the game ;)

@k@: yes, these are their playing cards. traveling to other places makes me break my first notion of how things should be, and reminds me how diverse this world could be, which calls for respect to other culture and things like that. yes, he's too occupied with the game that he only noticed me after I took several shots of him. thanks for visiting Karine :)

Very beautiful portrait, he seems very focused on their cards, well I think because I do not know this game!! Superb shot and beautiful light. Good day.

Great portrait. It'a a pity that the red bottle is in the foreground, but maybe there was nothing you could do about it. But never mind, it is superb photo. Except the motive I love the background (colors/light/structure).

@Albert: oh yes, I haven't noticed that one. thanks for pointing out Albert. I was having a hard time photographing the person since there was a crowd surrounding them, watching them play and every time I get near, they look at me, though I try my best to not look like a foreigner. Thanks for visiting Albert :)
