oblation for the cosmos

two Tibetans who looked like they just slaughtered that poor little fella. there was an altar-like structure we saw, not far from this place, that has some burned woods. I suppose this sheep will be used for offering to their gods

One of my very favorite picture at your place, Shoti ! That gritty mood is wonderful over this fabulous scene, the eye these woman give you frankly, the eye of the sheep still open and shining, the thick shadows, the strong mountains, ok, stop : masterpiece for me***
Thanks, this photo made my day ~

@MARIANA: I like this kind of b&w processing and I will do these from time to time :) thanks for the visit Mariana :)

Actually, that gritty pp makes this shot so close of a documentary one and that's that timeless quality it brings that I love. The more i look at this image, the more i feel fascinated : these 2 women seem from different places - are they ? The one on the right has a face that is really amazing (and she's so elegant, and this too is fascinating due to what they're doing !), could have been shot decades and decades ago... And, again, that shining eye of the beast is a little fading sun, quite dramatic and so strong... Well, maybe that's just for me, but i repeat it : I enjoy this photograph a lot and I'm very happy not to have missed it. Thank you*

@k@: that was what I was trying to achieve, old-fashioned b&w documentary image. I'm really glad you liked it. as for these two ladies, I think they come from the same place :) Thank you very much Karine :)
